SUMMARY:New Trail Cut in - Sprague Rd
DESCRIPTION:We have an additional new trail section that will connect Sprague Road to South Road (into Eagle for Gas / Food and KM State Forest).\nWe need a crew of volunteers to cut down small trees and brush for about 200 feet from Sprague Road into the Steinke (Sprague Farm) woods existing trails.\nEquipment to bring:\nChain Saw / Gas / Bar Oil.Power Brush Cutter (Blade type).Pole Saws (I will have the club saws gassed and ready).Loppers.Wire Cutter (there is some old woven wire fence that we need to clear away).Optional: ATV / UTV / trailer to carry yourself and equipment to the new trail location.\n\nAfterwards\, our trailmaster has invited the volunteer crew over to their place (1/2 mile North from our work zone) for some BBB (burgers / brats / beverages).\nPlease RSVP by 30-SEP-2026 to: mow_with_reo@yahoo.com OR text 262-352-6121.  Let him know how many so we can plan the BBB supplies.\n\nAlternative rain date would be Saturday\, OCT 10th\,2026 9AM – 3PM.

SUMMARY:Kettle Moraine State Forest Brushing Day
DESCRIPTION:The club will be clearing brush along the trails in the Kettle Moraine State Forest.\nMeeting location is the Hwy S Parking lot (Hwy S north of Hwy 67 -across the road from Jennings Holler)\n*Your vehicle does not need a state sticker on it if you are helping out with Brushing.\n\nIt is very important that you wear bright orange or yellow\, to be visible.\nThe club will have chain oil\, water & some safety vests for volunteers to use. \nIf you have one please bring: \n\nA 4WD/AWD ATV/UTV\nA cordless/gas polesaw or chainsaw\nLoppers\nLarge pry bar\n\nPlease respond to our Trailmaster Gary if you are able to help out.
